FELIZ NAVIDAD

Christmas was wonderful as usual and here are my pictures, I am a little late but hey what else can I say. . .

The one important part of our Christmas was my mom and dad, the Patriarch and Matriarch of the familia. It did make a major difference with them not here. My dad was sick so they stayed home.

It makes you ponder things and how precious life is and how important family is and savor the moments you have. This year we gained two new little additions to the clan.

In our little family alone we gained a little addition to our family named Sawyer (soy bean, little monkey) James Peacock, whereas the year before it was Kyle James Peacock our son in law who we love dearly. We are so blessed with him. Prayers do come true! Who know what next year will bring?

Our two new additions to our clan this year. Sawyer and Teague Bradley Blanchfield (a week old)

We are playing are traditional white elephant exchange

My sister talking about mom and dad

and the rest of the gang

Megan has become a Jazz Fan Junkie
and wants to marry D-Will she just has to tell his wife now
Erikah loves books and is ready to dive in
Soy Bean has no clue what is going on, just gimme food

Open our PJ's (we went green this year and didn't wrap them) we just threw them their PJ's in the bag we bought them in we are environmentally conscious (lazy)

Grandma and Grandpa had fun shopping for Soy Bean

We got the coolest gift and of course my Christmas cold so I look like a beauty

WHERE DID I GO??? MOURNING THE LOSS OF A MEMORY

Well hello and a fine how do you do. . . I am back among the living. Sorry I checked out but life got a little hectic and Thanksgiving came and gone. I had the funniest pictures to post but funny how one strike of a delete key can really screw things up. I tried to retrieve the pictures from my recycle bin but didn't know how to do that either so they are somewhere out in computer space waiting to be found.

IT HAPPENED!!! I HAVE MOURNED A DEEP LOSS OF MY LUMINA (BLUEMINA)

She was a good ol' gal, she took us all over the Pacific Northwest. She was a Beauty as you can see in the two pictures. Yes it was time to sell her and buy myself a new car. I have a Nissan Murano now and what do you think the color is? In remembrance of Bluemina it is Blue. (no not really I just like the color) It's pretty sweet it has a Navigation system so I won't get lost when I go to my moms house.
My 1991 Lumina went through all the girls throughout their high school much to their protest. Megan of course is elated. She gets the Camry now. I truly think she kept praying that the old gal would take her last breath. We sold her to a sweet lady who just needed a car to get her by for a couple of years.
When she came and picked up ol' blue I just couldn't watch as she drove out of sight. Boyd said "Lovey there she goes, come and see and I ran to my computer to keep myself busy so I wouldn't break down and cry. But I just sat there with tears glistening as they rolled down my face. Megan came home from school and saw that I had been crying a good part of the day (only 10 minutes but it seemed like all day) and rushed over and threw her arms around me and sensitively asked "mom what is the matter? Are you okay"? Erikah came out of her room and rushed over in haste and put her arms around me as well. I of course wiped the tears out of the corners of my eyes and told them of my loss and the girls with their sensitivity sat there in amazement and then started to laugh (rotten girls). During dinner I got a little choked up again and Tarah thought I needed to get a grip (another rotten daughter).
You see I may sound a little whacked in the head, a bit of a nut crack but it is about the memories that this car gave me. Megan was a newborn when we bought this car. Each girl has a story that goes along with the car. When we lived in Oak Harbor Washington we would take trips back home to Utah more memories would follow. Each girl has funny High School stories about the car. I could go on and on. But that is what it is really all about.
THE MEMORIES.

TWILIGHT

I saw Twilight today with Erikah, Tarah, Megan, Logan, and Neeley. It was funny to look around and see all the crazy fans at the movie theatre. I think I counted only 3 guys in the whole Theatre. It was a great movie, slow moving however but I liked it anyway. When you read the books you look forward to the movie an hope it is as good as the book. I wasn't disappointed in it at all. At first I was mad about the person they got to play Edward, I even thought of starting a protest, I wanted a teenage Brad Pitt type who was extremely captivating and I thought this Edward wasn't very beautiful but somewhere in the middle of the movie I thought to myself that I wouldn't mind if he bit my neck. So he grew on me and I thought he was handsome.
We are going again tomorrow because Erikah got tickets from her work and I am taking Boyd and Tarah is taking Kyle so this will prove an interesting evening. Boyd is not a chick flick man. Nor is he a Vampire dude either. He is such a good sport. He always goes with me whether he wants to or not. WHAT MY LOVER ENDURES JUST BECAUSE HE LOVES ME. I will report on the event tomorrow. . .
WISH ME LUCK!

CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE YAHOO!!!!

Well we are back from California but Boyd and myself took a detour first to Las Vegas last Wed. (5th of Nov.) It was so fun I forgot to take pictures. I actually rested alot and ate steak alot as well. I never eat alot of meat but I must have been low on iron or something because every night we were there I ate Steak. Even weirder (if this is a word) I ate it Medium so it was red in the middle, which for me is absolutely crazy (NO I AM NOT PREGNANT). Now I am eating salads to make up for my Steak attack.

This is the only pictures I took of Vegas, me and Boyd's employee's wife (Hi Amy)at the Paris Hotel getting ready to check in. After that I didn't take my camera anywhere else.

Then we got back Friday Night and caught a flight Saturday morning for California. We were going to fly from Las Vegas but the flight from Vegas to California first stopped in Salt Lake City. How dumb is that! So we drove back home and caught it the next day.

It was fun to go to my cousins wedding, I didn't know we could take pictures in their church so I did. I thought it was to sac-relig to take a picture of them up at the alter getting married so I didn't. It is interesting the different beliefs of religions but in the end we truly all believe the same. It was beautiful.

Hi MOM AND DAD HERE WE ALL ARE, MY LOVER AND ME AND TARAH AND SOY BEAN

I was a little afraid of the Jesus hanging on the wall with a big cross behind them, I kind of focused on him alot and not my cousins vows. (a little ADHD) I am not used to that. It kind of freaked me out and then my eyes started wondering around of course seeing a variety of interesting things that hang on a church wall.

I have been in many Catholic churches due to my other side of the family being Catholic, my dad being the first generation Latter Day Saint (Mormon for those out there). They are beautiful and sometimes breath taking with there stained glass and beautiful paintings and statues to boot, and then there are others that are just a little freaky to me with Christ on the cross bleeding, I will never get used to that it makes a mind wander and the imagination go astray.

ME OF COURSE AND ERIKAH BEING IRREVERENT (wonder where she gets that from) AND ERIKAH HUGGING ISABELLA AND MY SISTER LISA IN THE BACKGROUND

Family is a wonderful thing, we get many missionary opportunities to talk with them about their belief and about ours and in the end still have a deep love and respect for each other. Mi Familia will give you the shirt off their backs when you come over to visit. They feed you all the time and this is my chance to eat my Tia Mabel pasoli and homemade tortilla and sopapillas. I am happy to announce I didn't gain weight YAHOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! But I ate like the dickens. It must of been all the jiggling and whipping around at Disney Land. They are humble and I will miss them until next time I see them. God Be With You Always Mi' Familia.

TARAH AND ERIKAH WITH THEIR COUSIN ANISTACIA, MY SISTER RITA WITH MY COUSIN CHRISTINA AND MOM AND DAD WITH TIA MABEL IN THE BACKGROUND AND TARAH READING SOMETHING

MY SISTER RITA AND ALL OF MY COUSINS IN THE KITCHEN EATING, THAT IS ALL WE DID IS EAT, LISA MY SISTER WITH MY COUSINS JOHN AND PATTY. WE LOVE YOU AND THANKS FOR EVERYTHING AND THE SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS AND FOOD, FOOD, AND MORE FOOD. TE QUIERO CON TODO MY CORAZON.
